Internalization of Competency Development in Regional Economic Analysis

BPS Solok Selatan Regency was invited as a guest speaker at an event organized by the State Treasury Service Office (KPPN) of Solok City.

The event began with an opening speech by the Head of KPPN Solok City, Mrs. Ikasari Heniyatun. In her remarks, she emphasized the importance of synergy between government agencies in utilizing data and information to improve the quality of public services and data-based decision-making.

Next, the Head of BPS Solok Selatan Regency, Mr. Abdul Razi Razi, gave his welcome address. He stressed the importance of cooperation between BPS and KPPN in optimizing the use of statistical data for the planning and evaluation of development programs in the region.

The main presentation was delivered by the Commitment Making Officer (PPK) of BPS Solok Selatan Regency, Mr. Ekowira Susilo, on the topic "Regional Economic Analysis: A Regional Review Based on Macro Economic Indicators of Solok Selatan Regency." In his presentation, Mr. Ekowira outlined the regional economic conditions of Solok Selatan based on various macroeconomic indicators, such as Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), inflation, and other indicators.

After the presentation, the event continued with a question-and-answer session and discussion between the participants and the speakers. This discussion addressed various issues related to the economic development of Solok Selatan and efforts that can be undertaken to promote regional economic growth.

The event concluded with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between KPPN Solok and BPS Solok Selatan Regency on "Synergy in Joint Utilization of Data and Information." This MoU is expected to enhance cooperation and coordination between the two agencies in the use of statistical data and information to support policies and development programs in Solok Selatan.
