Training for Enumerators of Solok Selatan Regency's August 2024 Sakernas Data Collection

BPS- Statistics Solok Selatan Regency conducted training for enumerators for the August 2024 National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) data collection. This training took place offline at Hotel Pesona Alam Sangir from July 22 to 24, 2024. The primary goal of this training is to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of labor data collection and to provide a clearer picture of the labor conditions in Solok Selatan Regency.

During this training, enumerators were urged to carry out their duties diligently and responsibly until the completion of the assigned tasks. Additionally, they were expected to always adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) established by BPS.

The National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) is a routine survey conducted by BPS every February and August. This survey is specifically designed to collect data that can quickly and continuously depict the general state of employment. The data from the August Sakernas will produce employment indicators at the regency level, such as the employment rate (TKK), the open unemployment rate (TPT), and the labor force participation rate (TPAK).

This year, the Sakernas data collection will use the CAPI (Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing) method for the first time. Enumerators will conduct the data collection using the FASIH application, which requires a comprehensive understanding before they can go into the field. Therefore, this training is crucial to ensure that enumerators are well-prepared and capable of performing their duties effectively.

With this comprehensive training, it is hoped that the enumerators for the August 2024 Sakernas can work more effectively and efficiently, resulting in accurate and reliable labor data.
