Technical Training on Filling Sectoral Statistics Metadata and Socialization of the E-Walidata SIPD

On Tuesday, November 19, 2024, BPS-Statistics Solok Selatan Regency, in collaboration with the Solok Selatan Communications and Information Agency (Diskominfo), held a Technical Training (Bimtek) on Filling Sectoral Statistics Metadata and Socialization of the E-Walidata SIPD Module. The event took place at the BPS-Statistics Solok Selatan Regency Hall and was attended by representatives from various agencies and Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD).

The event was officially opened by the Head of BPS-Statistics Solok Selatan Regency, Mr. Abdul Razi, S.Si. In his opening remarks, he emphasized the importance of collaboration between agencies in supporting the management and updating of accurate and integrated sectoral statistics data. Prior to this, the committee report was presented by the Head of the Statistics and Cryptography Division of Diskominfo, Mr. Wesi Marsal, SE, who highlighted the objective of the activity as an effort to strengthen synergy in providing quality metadata.

The training and socialization materials were presented by two competent speakers. Ekowira Susilo, SST., M.E.K.K., from BPS-Statistics Solok Selatan, discussed the importance of filling sectoral statistics metadata as a fundamental element in developing standardized data. Following that, Al Raqna Sari, S.Si., from Diskominfo, socialized the use of the E-Walidata SIPD Module, a platform that supports the integration of statistical data in local government environments.

Through this activity, it is hoped that the synergy between BPS, Diskominfo, and OPD will continue to strengthen in realizing effective and integrated data management to support data-based development in Solok Selatan Regency.
