Head of BPS Solok Selatan Becomes a Speaker at the Regional Economics Sharing Session at KPPN Solok

Head of BPS-Statistics Solok Selatan Regency, Mr. Abdul Razi, S.Si, was invited as a speaker at the Sharing Session on Competency Development in Regional Economics Analysis held by the Treasury Service Office (KPPN) Solok on Wednesday, November 20, 2024. The event, held at the KPPN Solok Hall, was attended by officials and employees from the DJPb Sumatera Barat Regional Office and KPPN in the area.

The event was officially opened by the Head of the Directorate General of Treasury Regional Office of West Sumatra, Mrs. Dr. Syukriah HG, SH, M.Hum. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of enhancing understanding and analytical competencies in supporting treasury and fiscal management at the regional level.

As a speaker, Mr. Abdul Razi presented a session on the Human Development Index (HDI). He explained the significance of HDI as a key indicator in measuring human development success in a region, as well as its relevance in regional economic analysis. Using a data-driven approach, Mr. Abdul Razi also shared his experiences and insights on methods for collecting and analyzing HDI data conducted by BPS.

The participants showed great enthusiasm for the material presented, as seen in the interactive discussions during the session. It is hoped that this activity will strengthen the synergy between DJPb and BPS in supporting regional economic development based on accurate and relevant data.
