The Head of BPS-Statistics Solok Selatan Regency was invited as a speaker at the Technical Guidance (Bimtek) on Food Consumption Analysis Based on the Desirable Dietary Pattern (PPH) organized by the Department of Agriculture, Food Security, and Fisheries of Solok Selatan Regency.
The event, held at the Department of Agriculture Hall, aimed to enhance understanding of food consumption data processing and its analysis based on the PPH score, a key indicator for assessing the quality of community food consumption.
The Head of BPS Solok Selatan delivered a presentation titled "Methodology for Collecting and Utilizing Susenas Data for PPH Score Calculation and Analysis." This material aimed to provide participants with insights into the importance of statistical data in supporting policy-making in the food sector.
During this session, participants received a comprehensive explanation of how Susenas (National Socio-Economic Survey) data can be utilized to generate accurate PPH scores, serving as a foundation for analyzing food consumption quality at the regency or municipal level.
The Bimtek also featured a speaker from the Food Agency of West Sumatra Province, who discussed food consumption data processing based on the PPH framework. Through this collaboration, all stakeholders are expected to understand the importance of integrated measurement of food consumption quality to achieve sustainable food security.
This activity reflects the close synergy between BPS and local governments in supporting development based on accurate and relevant data.
