BPS Solok Selatan Regency Conducts Training for 2026 Maize Conversion Survey (SKJG) Field Officers

BPS Solok Selatan Regency conducted the 2026 Maize Conversion Survey (Survei Konversi Jagung/SKJG) Field Officer Training on Wednesday–Thursday, September 23–24, 2026. The training was held in the Meeting Room of BPS Solok Selatan Regency and attended by prospective SKJG 2026 field officers, with Gusda Wira, A.Md.Stat. serving as the National Instructor.
The training was part of the preparations for the implementation of the 2026 Maize Conversion Survey (SKJG), which was conducted following notification from Statistics Indonesia (BPS) through Letter Number B-192/5100/VS.190/2026, dated September 17, 2026.
The training aimed to enhance the field officers’ understanding and preparedness for conducting the SKJG 2026. Through this training, participants were equipped with an understanding of the survey’s concepts, definitions, methodology, and procedures in accordance with the established guidelines.
Over the two-day training, participants attended a series of sessions and discussions related to the implementation of SKJG 2026. Participants were also given opportunities to discuss and deepen their understanding of various technical aspects required for field data collection.
Field officer training is an important stage in ensuring that the SKJG 2026 can be implemented effectively and produce high-quality data. With a standardized understanding of concepts and procedures, field officers are expected to conduct data collection in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.
Through this training, BPS Solok Selatan Regency is committed to preparing competent and well-equipped field officers to carry out the SKJG 2026. The data generated from this survey is expected to support the provision of accurate and accountable agricultural statistics.
