BPS-Statistics Solok Selatan Regency Holds Sectoral Statistics Development to Improve Regional Data Quality

As part of its efforts to improve data quality and strengthen the implementation of sectoral statistics at the regional level, BPS-Statistics Solok Selatan Regency conducted a Sectoral Statistics Development program for data managers within the Solok Selatan Regency Government.

The activity was officially opened by the Head of BPS-Statistics Solok Selatan Regency, who, in his remarks, emphasized the importance of high-quality data as a foundation for supporting the planning, implementation, and evaluation of regional development.

This development program serves as a strategic step to enhance the understanding and capacity of sectoral statistics managers, particularly in producing data that are accurate, relevant, up-to-date, integrated, and accountable. Through this activity, participants are expected to gain a better understanding of the implementation of sectoral statistics in accordance with applicable statistical principles and standards.

Beyond improving technical capabilities, the training also provides an opportunity to strengthen coordination and synergy between BPS and regional government agencies as data producers. This collaboration is expected to foster more systematic and integrated data management, enabling regional development data needs to be met more effectively.
