COORDINATION FOR SECTORAL STATISTICS AND EPSS 2024 DEVELOPMENT

On February 12, 2024, the Head of BPS of Solok Selatan Regency, Abdul Razi S,Si, and the Chairperson of the Sectoral Statistics Team of BPS of Solok Selatan Regency, Ekowira Susilo, SST., M.E.K.K, led an important meeting with officials from the Solok Selatan Regency Government. The meeting was attended by the Secretary of the Solok Selatan Regency, Dr. Syamsurizaldi, S.IP, SE, MM, as well as the Head of the Solok Selatan Regency Information and Communication Office, Firdaus Firman, S.IP., ME.

The main objective of this meeting was to discuss the preparation for sectoral statistical activities to be carried out in 2024. In a collaborative atmosphere, stakeholders discussed various important aspects related to data collection, analysis, and reporting of sectoral statistics, which serve as the foundation for development policies in Solok Selatan Regency.

Abdul Razi S,Si, as the Head of BPS, emphasized the importance of cooperation between BPS and the local government in producing accurate and relevant data to support development. He also stressed the need for active participation from all relevant parties to ensure the successful implementation of sectoral statistical activities.

The meeting marked an important initial step in preparing a strong database to support sustainable development and evidence-based policies in Solok Selatan Regency for 2024 and beyond.
