FOCUS GROUP DISCUSSION ON THE COMPILATION OF SOLOK SELATAN IN FIGURES 2024

In an effort to present accurate and comprehensive data, BPS Solok Selatan held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at the Pesona Alam Sangir Hotel in Padang Aro. This important event aimed to facilitate the compilation of the publication "Solok Selatan Regency in Figures 2024".

Attended by various stakeholders, including vertical institutions and Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPDs), the FGD served as a platform for collaborative engagement and insightful discussion. Participants engaged in deep discussions on data collection methodologies, statistical analysis, and the identification of key indicators essential to accurately reflect the socioeconomic landscape of Solok Selatan Regency.

Led by BPS Solok Selatan Regency, the FGD created a conducive environment for knowledge exchange and consensus-building among participants.

During this event, Sectoral Statistics Coaching was also conducted with the coaching material "Exposing the Results of the 2023 Agricultural Census" by the Head of BPS Solok Selatan Regency, Mr. Abdul Razi, S.Si.

The active involvement of vertical institutions and OPDs reaffirmed the collective commitment to data-driven decision-making and evidence-based policymaking within the governance framework of Solok Selatan.
